Docs on Ice is excited to invite team captains and players to stop by Side Launch Brewery (Mountain Road, Collingwood) during our upcoming event! Swing in to pick up Docs on Ice team swag and pick up a case or two of DOI craft brew. It’s an easy drop-in, a great way to meet some of our sponsors and a fun way to connect off the ice. Here is your excuse to visit one of Collingwood’s favourite local spots.

Catch a luxury coach to the Alpine Ski Club in The Blue Mountains for the Docs on Ice Main Event – an in-house smoked-meat buffet extravaganza, live music, and a chance to kick back with teams from across Ontario. Enjoy a relaxed, high-energy night with great food, The Strange Potatoes on stage, and plenty of time to connect off the ice. Date: Friday, April 10

For 41 years, Docs on Ice has come together not just to play hockey, but to lift someone up. Across four decades, the tournament has raised millions of dollars for causes that touch the heart of every community we serve. We’ve stood beside women fighting breast cancer, helped create joyful and inclusive spaces for people with disabilities, supported those facing mental health challenges, and contributed to hospitals in need of life-changing equipment. These causes remind us why we gather: because compassion is powerful, community is everything, and every tournament is a chance to change someone’s life for the better.
The Charity of Choice 2026: Events for Life
Events for Life, based in Thornbury, is a registered charity dedicated to filling a critical gap in our community—supporting adults with special needs after they age out of the school system. Through hands-on day programs, life skills training, and meaningful social and recreational opportunities, they empower participants to build confidence, independence, and a true sense of belonging. Serving Collingwood, Meaford, and the surrounding area, Events for Life creates more than programs—it creates purpose, connection, and dignity for individuals and families who might otherwise be left without support.
